I’ve been trying to grow my hair out for years with no success and I couldn’t figure out why it felt like no matter what I did, it was impossible to see progress with growth. I have full, multi-textured, curly, thick hair and it felt like I could multiply the amount of hair on my head with ease and it would continue to grow outwards but it would never fall past my shoulders until this past year. I took steps to try different products and find what worked for my hair type, trying different routines and focusing on specific needs with different products from the inside and out. Sourse Vitamins
Beauty Bites/ Hair Grow Bites
These might be the easiest and most effective addition to my hair growth journey. I factually know that these little bites are what’s mainly responsible for the insane amount of growth I now have. Sourse’s delicious chocolate bites are packed with 1,000 mcg of Biotin boosting hair and nail growth and kickstarting the body’s production of keratin. You would never know these bites are jam-packed with vitamins being that they taste just like a plain M&M. The Ouai
Thick Hair Shampoo & Conditioner
I know it goes without saying but shampoos and conditioners are not a one product works for all kinds of hair. It’s so important to do research about damaging chemicals and also finding out what it is your specific hair type needs and how to maintain it. The Ouai’s shampoos and conditioners are made specifically for fine, medium and thick hair, using different formulas catered to the needs of each grade of hair. I can feel and see the difference in strength and growth in my hair. I use the thick formula and it specifically targets frizz, dryness, damage and breakage to which it truly works wonders.
Detox Shampoo
This clarifying shampoo is phenomenal. It cleanses the hair of product build up, dirt, oil and any impurities by using apple cider vinegar to detox the hair while simultaneously strengthening the hair with keratin. I use this shampoo for when I know I’ve added a lot of product, hairspray, after swimming and especially when I know my hair is dirty and needs a little extra tlc.
Thick Hair Treatment Mask
This hair mask is sent from the heavens. My hair feels like the softest of cashmere after I’m done using this product. The perfect secret weapon to combating dry, damaged hair, frizz and restoring moisture and shine back to my mane. The power of Ouai products are untouchable in my opinion but again, this is the first brand to where I’m being delivered the exact results that I’ve wanted.
Leave-In Conditioner
After getting out of the shower my go the first thing I grab is the Ouai Leave- In Conditioner and spritz it through my hair and let it sit before combing through. Perfect for heat protection, combating frizz and detangling the hair, this leave in conditioner smells delicious and gives my hair the necessary shield from the heat that’s coming it’s way.
Olaplex
No. 3 Hair Perfecter
This little number packs a powerful punch. I use this when my hair is calling out for an sos in the ends department. This is a pre-shampoo hair mask. I typically wet my hair with the detachable shower head fully clothed (it’s a choice) so I can get my hair fully wet to apply this treatment. While it sits for 10 minutes, it’s repairing my split ends and damaged bonds and I can get a quick chore done, or watch some Love Island while my hair is getting the love and attention it deserves.
Gisou
Honey Infused Hair Oil
A little goes a long way with this oil, I just got to the end of my bottle and I’m fully regretting not restocking before I got to this point. Just a few drops while my hair is wet and then a few drops after the straightening process and I’m good to go. Thick, rich and adds the perfect shine while it builds, repairs and strengthen the hair leaving you perfectly styled with healthy looking and feeling hair!

Dr. Knot Hair Dryer Brush
This hair dryer switched up the game for me big time! I had never used one of these dryer brushes and I wasn’t about to shell out a couple hundred dollars on a Dyson when I’m not even sure a product like this could work for my hair type. I’m happy to report that my first and constant blowouts have been done by me with this blowdryer here. Comes with a removable brush head and comb attachment with the ability to use without either but I swear by the brush attachment!
These are some of the products I know are responsible for the hair growth results I’ve been seeing over the last year.
