It’s officially Summer and that time again where I share with you the new products I have been using and living for. Out of all the products I try, these 7 products have made the list of what’s being added to my regularly used skincare. These products have been doing wonders for my face and as I’ve said on my Instagram stories, there’s no gatekeeping here! Let me share with you some of the brands that I am absolutely LOVING right now and how their products have been working for my skin. Let’s get into it!
Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte’s Magic Serum Crystal Elixir
First on my list would have to be Charlotte’s Magic Serum Crystal Elixir. I just started using this about two weeks ago and it definitely lives up to the hype and if you haven’t heard the hype, I’m about to tell you. This serum is on another level if you’re looking for glowing, hydrated and more youthful looking skin. I wish I would’ve taken a before and after from the start of using this product because I’ve seen a noticeable difference in just two weeks and I hate to play favorites but this is by far my favorite addition to my skincare routine. This elixir uses the power of Polyglutamic Acid which is a supercharged hydrating ingredient that’s over 4X more hydrating than Hyaluronic Acid, Golden Vitamin C and REPLEXIUM for younger looking skin. I see my fine lines and wrinkles reducing and the extra hydration was exactly what my face needs.
Biossance (with Reese) Squalane + Zinc Sheer Mineral Sunscreen
The perfect sunblock does in fact exist in Biossance Squalane + Zinc Sheer Mineral Sunscreen, 30 SPF, it’s lightweight and blends in easily leaving you protected and not covered in what feels like a layer of grease. Unfortunate but true, that’s typically what turns me off from using sunscreen, especially on my face. ( I like to use CC cream that typically has an SPF in it but now I use both) I know the importance of protecting your skin from damaging UVA and UVB rays and it’s nice to have a product that does exactly that without feeling like I have to sacrifice the integrity of my make up or comfort. As you can see, I originally tried this sunscreen in a set curated by Reese Witherspoon called the Sunshine Set, I haven’t had it for long at all but I use it every day and will absolutely be re-upping for the Summer!
Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow PHA + BHA Pore-Tight Toner
So I’m sure you’re seeing the reoccurring theme here which is HYDRATION. It’s so important to keep your face hydrated with the products you choose to use and depriving your skin of moisture is like depriving your body of water. So this toner not only exfoliates the dead skin but also works to clear out and tighten your pores all whilst hydrating at the same time. The texture is almost thick for a liquid but not quite a serum, yet dries quickly once on the skin. It’s gentle, vegan, cruelty-free and effective. I was seeing this everywhere so I thought why not and bought it, definitely do not regret that decision.
Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte’s Magic Cream
Pure magic! This combined with the Crystal Elixir is simply put, just pure magic. The way this moisturizer plumps my skin and leaves me glowing.. I can’t rave about Charlotte’s skincare enough. I just recently started using to her brand even though I had heard of it for years. I honestly don’t know what I’ve been waiting for, this brand is amazing. This magic cream is thick like a body cream and a little bit goes a long way, which I love leaving my skin GLOWING and so supple! I’ve had the opportunity to try out her make up too, which I will save for another blog post, but my goodness! Everything Charlotte Tilbury makes is gold, so good, so smooth and everything from the colors to quality are chef’s kiss. This magic cream is no exception, it’s award winning and owes no explanation why.
Sunday Riley C.E.O. Glow Vitamin C + Tumeric Face Oil
My favorite daytime oil, C.E.O. Glow is rich in Vitamin C with all natural ingredients including turmeric and evening primrose to brighten and hydrate the skin and give you that gorgeous glow needed first thing in the morning. I love the way it smells and I only use about 3-4 drops for my full face and neck, leaving the skin luminous and perfectly hydrated. Always ready to start the day with this face oil and it’s definitely been lasting me!
Biossance (with Reese) Squalane + Rose Vegan Lip Balm
Love love love this lip balm! Okay so not only is it super (word of the day) HYDRATING but it also repairs, smoothes and plumps! You can feel a little tingle as the Wakame algae helps restore plumpness to the lips and helps chapped lips become a thing of the past. No fragrance or flavor just pure moisture in a tube. I also love Biossance because of their dedication to eco-consciousness and always using sustainably sourced packaging with minimal impacts on natural resources. Love an eco conscious company that makes amazing products!
Know Beauty Balancing Day Moisturizer
I have just been introduced to Know Beauty and I have nothing but great things to say about what I’ve tried. This Balancing Day Moisturizer has become a new favorite and is in close competition with my #1. I’m a huge fan of the gel consistency, scent and ingredients used in this moisturizer. Two of the main ingredients I’m really excited about are the cloudberry which brightens the skin and provides an antioxidant defense to combat aging and snow algae to boost collagen and protect skin from environmental damage. So much goodness in this moisturizer, you’ll have to try it for yourself!
I have combination skin so it’s very important to me to find products that work for my skin and prevent break outs as much as possible. So far, these products have truly impressed me and I would only recommend products that I’ve not only personally tried but that I USE.
