Getting Autumnal Cozy!

I love fall time so much but living in Los Angeles, I have to wait quite a while into the season to get that crisp air, ready to bundle up fall feeling. This year, I took matters into my own hands and ordered cute fall decorations to give me the confirmed feeling that leaves are changing and it IS fall regardless of the heatwave we’re currently experiencing out here.

I wanted to create a homey atmosphere where you could expect to be served a glass of hot cider with Hocus Pocus playing in the background. I’m not a huge fan of going overboard with decorations, I’m very much a comfort person first and foremost and I need things to be functional. That’s why I leaned more towards an Autumnal approach over Halloween.

The color scheme I followed really focused on golden yellow, merlot and burnt orange. By switching up the couch accents (i.e. pillow covers and blankets,) and adding the magical element of twinkle lights throughout the foliage with candles really nailed the exact vibe I was going for. Especially at night as the room is lit up and glowing.

I’m loving this theme since it flows right into the Thanksgiving season and won’t require an additional decoration bin, which is perfect for my current lack of additional storage, keeping it nice and simple. Anyway, I’m rambling so here’s everything I ordered from my cart!
